History of the Sekari Trade Syndicate

During the time of the infinite empire, deep within the Corellian Sector was hidden a colony of Kel Dor. The Kel Dor people in this society were ruled by a noble sect and believed in the ways of democracy but were represented and guided by a class of citizen, held on high above all others, known as the Sekari. Amongst their noble ways and teachings were that of combat and martial arts, tactics and politics, peace and protection and virtues that made them stand out as the protectors of the Kel Dor ways. These few were chosen and agreed upon by the people and were only trained after coming of age during their final youth maturing period.

But the sphere of influence the Infinite Empire held would eventually bring the Rakata to the door step of the Corellian Sector and would place the colony in peril. The Kel Dor refused to give in to an outside influence and bow down to power, but the power in the force that the Rakatan’s controlled was too much for the Kel Dor to handle.

The Kel Dor knew this to be true and as such, they devised a plan to escape the clutches of the Rakata forever. After a massive battle with the Rakata, many Kel Dor lay dead or wounded. The Sekari were few amongst the ranks of the Kel Dor but very few had perished in the battle. After meeting to discuss a further escape strategy it was clear what they would have to do. The Sekari stayed behind, engaging the Rakatan force users in what would prove to be their final battle.
The Sekari snuck on board the flag ship of the Rakatan Navy and eliminated the crew, taking the ship under their control. Using what primitive technology they found on board, the Sekari turned the ship on its creators, distracting the Rakatans while the Kel Dor escaped in what vessels they had left. The Rakatans were ultimately forced to destroy the ship before the Sekari were able to abandon it and find their way to safety.

The Kel Dor that escaped returned home. The story was passed down from generation to generation, only told to the direct descendants of those who were there until the day the Sekari could return to the universe again.

They now focus their efforts on a firm hand in galactic affairs through economic triumph. The days of old have long passed and the Sekari are now replenishing their numbers and plan to come back stronger than ever.
